。

some random notes from my biosemiotics lesson that I think have some implications for life.

the complexity of systems in cells and organisms arise without knowing a priori what it or its function is to be.

it's like tumbling. what does not work will finally be dispatched. so over time, ideally we'll reach perfection.

we cant see at wavelengths that are outside 400-700nm; we cant hear sound waves higher than 20000hz. Why are humans so handicapped?

Yet you have to realize that many times asking "why" in biology will only get to the same answers again and again: "it just happend that way".

we all started from the unicellular organism billions years ago but we've taken different paths. Yet there is no superiority or ranking because we ALL are unique.

experience is only simplification of reality--a piece of internalized and fractionalized reality. so, none of us are right and none are wrong.

忘记自己最开始想说什么了。大概是what will be, will be吧。自然和人生一样,并不需要理由,关键是你决定哪条路想看到什么听到什么。
